Trade your gun for a prayer...love your neighbor. There are those who talk of sickness and destruction, about the end of goodness, the end of days; who hope the curse of a major altercation will lead down a path to some better days. Instead of words of kindness, hands of assistance and compassionate acts routinely displayed; they pray for predictions of death and turmoil, for evil and hate to have it's day. YOU SHARE THE SHAME AND THE BLAME WHEN, WHO'S RIGHT AND WHO'S WRONG ENDS, WITH FUSSIN' AND FIGHTIN' SENDING SOME TO THE GRAVE Sticks and stones will break some bones, angry words cut deep like a knife. So stop and think before you speak, hurt someone, take a life. For in that moment you decide to step across the boundary line; to become the jury and the judge,words come to mind, Vengeance is mine. There's a new age rising with new expectations, time to put into action those words of good intentions. Instead of a particular political persuasion, work together to solve this nation's tribulations. The chances you take, the choices you made, shape the form of the future and how it's played. Remember there are always exceptions to the rules, for if you choose, fairy tales come true.
